Terms of Service

Welcome to PawComp! This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) constitutes a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) and the operator of the PawComp application. By using this application, you agree to comply with the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the application. If you do not agree with the contents of this Agreement, please stop using the application immediately.

1. Services Provided

1.1 Features

PawComp is a pet management tool offering the following core features:

  • Recording essential pet information, including name, birth date, gender, breed, etc.;
  • Local data storage with future support for iCloud synchronization;
  • Subscription-based advanced features, including the ability to create unlimited pet profiles.

1.2 Service Limitations

  • This application is intended solely for recording and managing pet-related information. Any illegal use is strictly prohibited.

2. User Responsibilities

2.1 Legal Use

When using this application, Users must comply with applicable national laws and regulations. Users are prohibited from uploading, publishing, or storing the following:

  • Content that contains illegal, violent, pornographic, or other harmful information;
  • Content that infringes upon the legal rights of others.

2.2 Data Accuracy

Users are responsible for ensuring that all submitted or recorded data is accurate and truthful. Any losses caused by inaccurate data shall be borne by the User.

3. Data Storage and Privacy

3.1 Data Storage

  • User data is stored locally on the device by default, and the application does not automatically upload or share data.
  • Future versions with iCloud synchronization will require explicit user authorization.

3.2 Privacy Protection

  • We commit to not collecting personally identifiable information from Users.
  • Pet record data will only be used for core application functionality and will not be shared with third parties without User consent.

3.3 Data Security

While we are committed to protecting User data, the operator is not liable for data loss or breaches caused by force majeure, network attacks, or other uncontrollable circumstances.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Services

PawComp offers premium features through subscription plans. By subscribing, Users agree to the terms and pricing displayed within the application. Subscription plans include:

  • Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual options;
  • Pricing as displayed in the App Store.

4.2 RevenueCat Integration

  • Subscription services are managed via RevenueCat, a third-party platform. RevenueCat ensures secure processing of subscription purchases and provides real-time updates to subscription statuses.
  • RevenueCat does not store payment information but facilitates communication with the App Store for subscription management.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4.4 Refund Policy

Refund requests for subscriptions are subject to the policies of the App Store and are not managed directly by PawComp.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Software Copyright

The ownership and intellectual property rights of this application, including but not limited to interface design and functional code, belong to the operator.

5.2 User License

Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this application. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell this application or its contents in any form.

6. Disclaimer

6.1 Functional Limitations

This application serves as a tool for recording and managing pet information. The operator is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or misuse of data by Users.

6.2 Force Majeure

The operator is not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by system failures, network issues, hacking, or force majeure events.

7. Modifications and Termination

7.1 Agreement Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time with prior notice to Users. The modified Agreement will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.

7.2 Termination of Service

The operator reserves the right to terminate services and delete related data under the following circumstances:

  • The User violates the terms of this Agreement;
  • The application is discontinued due to technical or business adjustments.

9.1 Governing Law

The operator reserves the right to interpret and resolve any disputes regarding this Agreement.
